Breaking language barriers in roofing

Acculynx Residential Roofing Podcast
May 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

By Jonny Suchor.

A discussion about multilingual software solutions and AI's role in advancing the roofing industry.

In a recent "AccuLynx on the Roof" podcast episode dedicated to assisting roofing contractors in their business operations, a panel of tech experts from AccuLynx joined the host, JP, to discuss the three biggest roofing trends for 2024 that contractors can’t afford to miss.

Mark Rutan, vice president of product at AccuLynx, shared his extensive experience in software development, emphasizing the importance of product design that meets customer needs. "Specifically, my role here at AccuLynx is to kind of stand at the crossroads of business, customer experience and design," Mark explained. He highlighted the firm's commitment to building the right tools for customers, making their products functional and user-friendly.

The company’s director of operations Lynn Foster, with over two decades in the construction industry, outlined the company's focus on navigating industry partnerships and business development within AccuLynx. Lynn pointed out the role of software in streamlining communication, especially in a workforce as diverse as construction. "The ability to actually send over a document on their phone and have them look at that and be able to read it and understand it can help clear things up," Lynn shared.

Both Mark and Lynn emphasized the role of roofing professionals in shaping the future of the industry. They touched on the significance of adapting to current trends, such as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to predict roofing maintenance schedules and enhance the sales process. Mark stated, "AI can take some of the data and be able to predict potentially replacing those products. Your input and adoption of these technologies are crucial in driving the industry forward."

AccuLynx’s innovative software solutions represent a leap forward for the roofing industry, offering tools for intelligent lead management and multilingual communication that bridge language gaps on the job site.
