Duro-Last®, Inc. Honors Parsons Commercial Roofing as Contractor of the Year

The award was presented during the 2018 Duro-Last Sales Seminar in San Antonio.

Saginaw, Michigan – Duro-Last, Inc. honored Parsons Commercial Roofing, a Duro-Last Platinum Contractor from Waco, Texas, as 2017 Contractor of the Year during its National Sales Seminar held at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas from January 21-23, 2018. This accomplishment also earned Parsons Commercial Roofing the John R. Burt Award, which honors contractors who achieve more than $4 million in sales.

Parsons Commercial Roofing was also recognized with the Duro-Last 2017 Roof of the Year Award for their work at Sonora Independent School District in Sonora, Texas. In total, 38 buildings throughout the District – over 300,000 square feet of roofing surface – had to be assessed and replaced after a storm caused extensive damage. From all three academic campuses to the administration and athletic buildings, Parsons developed an individual plan for every structure – which included either tear off or overlay of the previous roof materials, in addition to the installation of new materials. Altogether, over 120,000 square feet of 50 mil Duro-Last membrane and 130,000 square feet of EXCEPTIONAL® Metals LokSeam® standing seam panels were installed.
