SRS Expands its Presence in Washington, Louisiana and Texas

This expansion was made possible through the acquisition of two industry leaders.

SRS Distribution Inc. (“SRS”) announced today that it has simultaneously acquired CB Wholesale (“CB”) in Washington and RSI Building Products (“RSI”) in Louisiana.

Both companies specialize in the distribution of residential & commercial roofing, drywall and other related products. Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Bellingham, Washington, CB was founded in 1982 by Brent & Cherie Walker and is currently run by their daughter, Regan Walker-Sayres. The company also operates a second location in Burlington, Washington. Regan will continue to lead their dedicated employee base under the CB banner, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers and supplier partners.

Headquartered in Shreveport, Louisiana, RSI was founded in 1985 by Jean & Jerry Sayres and is currently run by their son and Regan’s father-in-law, Skip Sayres. The company operates four other locations in Louisiana (Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Hammond, New Orleans) and one branch in Dallas, Texas. RSI’s senior management team, Skip Sayres and Ed Adams, will continue to lead their dedicated employee base under the RSI banner while providing exceptional service to the company’s loyal customers.
