Adams and Reese is pleased to announce the inclusion of 13 attorneys in the 2023 edition of Mid-South Super Lawyers (by Thomson Reuters), which includes the publication’s “Rising Stars” list. The Mid-South rankings cover the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Since 1991, Super Lawyers has recognized lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Honorees are selected through a nomination process, a peer-review survey by practice area, and independent research on candidates emphasizing professional successes, peer recognition and community involvement. Rising Stars qualify as 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.

Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country.
