Jeffrey Blank brings over 40 years of experience in the construction/industrial building arena to his position as Vice President of the SR Products Division of Simon Roofing. He has been employed by Simon Roofing for the past 27 years. Mr. Blank has been an active member of the Cool Roofs Rating Council (CRRC) for the past 20 years. He has been credited with being the primary developer and author of the current CRRC Rough Substrates Testing Methodology. Furthermore, Mr. Blank is a very active member of the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) and is a past President. He is also the recipient of the RCMA’s Martin A. Davis Lifetime Achievement Award and the Lewis S. Ripps Government and Regulatory Affairs Achievement Award, respectively.
Mr. Blank currently serves on the RCMA Board of Directors and has done so for over the past 20 years. Mr. Blank is also a member of ASTM International, where he served as the Committee Task Force Chairperson for ASTM D 6083 on Acrylic Latex Roof Coatings. He has invented and developed numerous construction-related products. As recognition for these efforts, Mr. Blank has won both the silver and gold medal awards for “Product of the Year” from Plant Services Magazine's annual new product competition.
Throughout his career, he has authored numerous construction-related technical articles in multiple trade journals and publications. He is a member of the Technical Advisory Service for Attorneys (TASA) and is a nationally recognized legal expert in building and construction technologies. As an honors graduate of Case Western Reserve University in 1981, Mr. Blank is a very proud alumnus of the University. He currently resides in Lake Worth, Florida, with his wife of 38 years, and their 14-year-old poodle/yorkie mix dog named Frank.
