In October of 2021, MRCA lost our dear friend, respected colleague, and Board member, Naphis Mitchell-Reyes.
Those of us lucky enough to have known Naphis, know that he was a man who valued honor, truth, and family above all else. Always seeking excellence in all his endeavors; he would say "I will never stop learning." He was loved by every person that met him; he will forever be remembered in our hearts.
This year we are proud to introduce the Naphis Mitchell-Reyes Excellent Safety Professional Award. This award recognizes roofing safety professionals who exemplify the values that we most respected in Naphis Mitchell-Reyes.
The winner of this award must demonstrate a passion for safety, as well as a vast knowledge and understanding of safety and a drive to create an authentic safety culture for their company or clients. MRCA knows that like Naphis, this award is special, and it will not be awarded every year, but only when the nominee truly embodies the wonderful qualities that Naphis always shared with us.
Nominate your favorite safety professional today! Nominations are due August 10th.
