Renee Urso is currently the Texas Branch Manager of O’Hara’s Son Roofing. Within her first eight months, she has sold various roofing systems and has set up a fully functioning service department. Urso is an elected Director of the National Association of Women in Construction and is an active member of the National Women in Roofing.
Upon returning to the States after living abroad in Germany for six years, Renee' obtained a Sales Coordinator position at Longhorn Commercial Roofing. She was highly perceptive on the areas of growth needed for the company by first organizing the sales department to increase leads and proposal execution timelines. Her focus was then redirected to the installation of a Service department that brought in four National Accounts from her innate relationship-building skills. Amidst the accomplishment of structuring the necessary departments, her next focus was to implement comprehensive Quality Control/Quality Assurance and Safety Programs. Her tenure at Longhorn helped guide Renee' in this industry, as she was so fortunate to learn from many roofing professionals by attending Roofers CoffeeShop podcasts, NTRCA, RCAT, HARCA, MRCA, NWIR, NAWIC and IRE events.
With a good seven years plus in the commercial roofing industry, Urso is looking to grow OSR’s presence in the South and continue to mentor other women in the construction industry.
