Reflecting on 2024 shows us what’s possible when like-minded organizations collaborate to elevate the industry.

As we launch into 2025 as an industry, it’s the perfect time to look back on the accomplishments and milestones that shaped 2024. From launching innovative programs to educating roofing professionals, APOC has demonstrated its commitment to pushing boundaries and driving growth.

APOC’s partnership with CoatingsCoffeeShop™ has been particularly impactful. Together, we have created valuable educational opportunities and expanded access to critical resources. Whether it’s connecting with contractors, launching groundbreaking tools or engaging audiences through live events, APOC’s initiatives reflect a shared vision with The Coffee Shops: empowering roofing professionals through knowledge and innovation.

Here are the top five highlights that defined this year for APOC and their collaboration with CoatingsCoffeeShop:

5 – APOC continued to sponsor CoatingsCoffeeShop

While CoatingsCoffeeShop officially launched summer of 2023, 2024 marked its breakout year. Sara Jonas from APOC guest-starred on the first episode of the CoatingsCast podcast to discuss the importance of roof coatings and the potential impact of CoatingsCoffeeShop on the industry.

The educational opportunities we offer through The Coffee Shops have been remarkable, providing roofing professionals with a hub of resources to improve their craft. The numbers speak for themselves:  

    16,400 unique visitors per year

    31,000 page views per year

    600 webinar registrations last year

    10,000 YouTube views

    8,600 podcast clicks

    1,100 social media followers

These metrics highlight the growing demand for accessible, high-quality roofing education.

4 – APOC launched a new user experience

In the first quarter of 2024, APOC unveiled their redesigned website, offering an enhanced user experience tailored to the needs of contractors and roofing professionals. The updated platform provides intuitive access to essential tools, including product information, training materials and APOC’s Contractor ProProgram.

By simplifying navigation and centralizing resources, APOC has made it easier than ever for professionals to find what they need and stay ahead in a competitive market.  

3 - Polyset® Roofing Adhesives joined the family

APOC expanded its portfolio this year by introducing Polyset Roofing Adhesives – a product line known for its innovative dispensing technology and strong adhesion properties. Contractors now have access to adhesives that are not only easy to apply but also ensure long-lasting durability.

This addition aligns with APOC’s mission to offer a comprehensive range of roofing and waterproofing solutions that professionals can rely on. Their growing portfolio now includes roof coatings, adhesives, sealants, construction products and more.   

2 – APOC grew their contractor loyalty program

In the summer of 2024, APOC expanded their contractor loyalty program, further strengthening their relationship with customers and contractors. Designed to highlight their commitment to contractors, the program emphasizes mutual growth and collaboration. APOC’s goal is simple yet impactful: to be the first call for every project, issue or question related to roofing systems.

By investing in loyalty, APOC continues to build trust and ensure that contractors and distributors see them as a reliable partner in their success.

1 – APOC and CoatingsCoffeeShop went live from a roof

Education took on a whole new meaning this year when John Athanasion and Mike Negrete from APOC joined Heidi J. Ellsworth and The Coffee Shops crew for a live webinar – on an active roof restoration project. The webinar was presented in both English and Spanish, offering an in-depth look at roof restoration processes and best practices.

This unique collaboration brought education to life, allowing professionals to gain real-world insights directly from the field. It exemplifies APOC’s and The Coffee Shops’ shared dedication to providing innovative, accessible learning opportunities for the roofing community.
