Maximizing opportunities in K-12 facility construction

Tremco Roofing presents a two-part series offering industry professionals insights and best practices from over 40,000 case studies. 

From the experts at Tremco Roofing comes a special opportunity for industry professionals to expand their opportunities by learning all there is to know about the renovation, restoration and new builds of educational environments. This two-part series, “Transforming Educational Spaces: Innovative Restoration and Construction of 40,000+ K-12 Facilities,” will cover the best practices and insights gathered from more than 40,000 case studies focused on the projects which led to the betterment of K-12 building enclosure systems.  

Participants have the opportunity to learn about the best practices used in these case studies to improve building functions such as energy efficiency, durability, design and cost savings. They will be led through the challenges contractors and their teams faced during some of these projects and how they overcame them. From the data collected from these studies, attendees will gain insights into some of the most innovative strategies for creating quality structures that will last local communities years to come!  

This series will cover four main learning objectives: 

• Learning objective 1: Participants will learn to analyze legal building enclosure system codes and the regulation evaluations which are conducted to ensure a structure’s performance, durability and resilience.  
• Learning objective 2: Attendees will have the opportunity to examine the many obstacles building professionals face when trying to optimize building enclosure systems. They will learn how these challenges on large-scale projects are solved.  
• Learning objective 3: Participants will be shown and taught clever strategies used to achieve cost and time efficiencies on the job without compromising the quality or performance of the building enclosure.  
• Learning objective 4: Attendees will walk through a step-by-step guide to the best practices for renovation, restoration and new construction practices – skills needed in order to have effective product management.
