The Roofing Alliance invites applications for its 2025 Call for Funding, aimed at advancing the roofing industry through research, education and technical initiatives. The deadline for submissions is January 1, 2025.
Each year, the Roofing Alliance supports innovative projects from industry partners, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations and research firms. Funding focuses on initiatives that address industry challenges, promote future growth and advance knowledge in key areas, including education and training, technology, sustainability and philanthropy.
Funding proposals should align with the Roofing Alliance’s mission and support one of the two safety-focused RFPs provided on the Roofing Alliance website. Proposals should refrain from using any proprietary products, services or materials or advocating an industry position or segment and instead contribute to the betterment of the U.S. roofing industry.
"We are dedicated to funding initiatives that address critical research gaps and drive meaningful progress in the roofing industry," says Alison L. LaValley, CAE, executive director of the Roofing Alliance. "While we value projects aligned with our core pillars — education, technology, sustainability and philanthropy — this year, we are placing particular emphasis on advancing safety within the industry."
