Celebrating the Opening of CoatingsCoffeeShop™!

Join Sara Jonas of APOC and Heidi J. Ellsworth in celebrating the exciting things to come from the CoatingsCoffeeShop™ launch! 

In the very first episode of the CoatingsCast podcast, Heidi J. Ellsworth welcomes Sara Jonas from APOC to celebrate the launch of CoatingsCoffeeShop and their partnership to bring this exciting project to life. The pair discuss how CoatingsCoffeeShop came to be and the industry this platform will serve.  

CoatingsCoffeeShop was created as a way to connect manufacturers, industry suppliers, associations, contractors and anyone in the coatings industry to ensure the industry’s success as it continues to grow. CoatingsCoffeeShop’s founding and launch is sponsored by APOC, a brand dedicated to manufacturing quality roof coatings and other building materials, so that contractors and coatings users can have a resource and learning hub for all things coatings.  

Sara explained why opening CoatingsCoffeeShop was so important to her and the brand she represents, APOC, “We thought [CoatingsCoffeeShop] would be a great resource for both people who are already in coatings and beginners, to learn about new techniques, new innovations and to find out basically all that this industry has to offer in one spot. But it's also really great for people who aren't doing [coatings] today, to understand and learn how to expand their business.” 

Sara and Heidi also discussed the exciting resources featured on the platform that users can look forward to as CoatingsCoffeeShop grows. In particular, podcasts featuring knowledgeable experts in the coatings industry as they share their expertise and advice will definitely be a highlight. Heidi shared, “We're going to be talking to all of the experts out in the industry and getting some coating contractors on here to have conversations with them. And possibly bring some of the chemical companies and the vendors on here to talk about [coatings].”
